C4CCI Art X Space is proud to present Spiritual, a solo photo-illustration exhibition by designer and academic Ezgi Şen Atiker — the inaugural solo show of the Art X Space programme, open from 23 to 31 March 2026.
Spiritual is a series of 15 photo-illustrations mapping the invisible forces that shape human consciousness. Each work corresponds to one of fifteen points of origin — practices, elements and conditions drawn from scientific research, ancient healing traditions and cross-cultural wisdom. Together they form a quiet, precise map of inner terrain.
About the Work
The works in Spiritual are deliberately restrained. Atiker’s visual language resists the spectacular — preferring subtle colour, layered texture and careful form. These are not images that announce themselves loudly. They ask to be stayed with, read slowly, returned to.
The series draws on fifteen distinct starting points: sacred purple, sun bathing, the sound of water, darkness and silence, aromatherapy, the power of salt, dried flowers, antiques, light breathing, incense, crystal, dust, healing frequencies, communication with nature — and the practice of changing one’s routine.
Each of these is grounded in contemporary research in neuroscience, psychology and energy medicine, yet opens onto something that exceeds purely rational explanation. Atiker is interested precisely in this threshold — the place where science and lived experience meet, where the measurable and the felt cannot easily be separated.
About the Artist
Ezgi Şen Atiker is a designer and academic who completed her education in visual communication design and conducts scientific and artistic research in the fields of artificial intelligence and computational creativity. Her designs have been featured in numerous international group exhibitions and biennials, primarily in Switzerland, Poland and Spain. Spiritual marks her first solo exhibition.
A New Chapter for Art X Space
Spiritual marks the beginning of Art X Space’s solo exhibition programme — a rolling programme of solo shows from digital and emerging artists working across photo-illustration, new media, AI art and hybrid practices. The programme is open for submissions year-round, with no submission fee.
C4CCI’s founder and director Dr Ayla Torun wrote of the exhibition: “Spiritual establishes the curatorial horizon of Art X Space — practices that exist across disciplines, cultures and methods. Works that refuse singular definition.”
